At Brickyard Hollow, summer is better when there is something good happening around the table. This season, our Community Nights bring together three Maine organizations whose work reaches people and families across the state. In July, we are supporting Time to Compete. August belongs to Maine Cancer Foundation, and September highlights NAMI Maine. We are also serving Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza all summer long. Every order helps generate donations for that month’s featured partner, giving you another easy way to join us in supporting the communities we call home.
How Community Nights Maine Works at Brickyard Hollow
Community Nights Maine keeps fundraising simple. You come in, share dinner or drinks, and your visit helps support the organization featured that month. There is no complicated program to follow and no need to change your regular plans. Bring your family after practice, meet a few friends for pizza, or gather coworkers around a table. Together, an ordinary summer evening can become something more meaningful.
We are always glad to hear from schools, teams, nonprofits, and community groups that need a fundraising partner. With at least eight weeks’ notice, we can help turn a good idea into a well-supported Community Night. You can learn more about Community Nights, apply to host a Community Night, or check our events calendar for upcoming dates.
Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza and Giving Back in Maine
Our summer pizza is Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza, and it brings exactly the kind of classic, rich, simple flavor we want when the days are long. It’s just like grandma used to make! We start with a rich vodka sauce base, then add fresh mozzarella, Parmesan, and fresh basil. It is warm, cheesy, and easy to share, whether you order one for the table or claim a few slices for yourself.
The pizza also gives us another way to keep giving back in Maine all summer. Sales of Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza help generate donations for the featured Community Nights partner each month. In July, those orders support Time to Compete. In August, they help Maine Cancer Foundation. In September, they support NAMI Maine. You do not have to wait for one specific event date to take part. Stop in during the month, order the summer pizza, and help us keep the support moving from one partner to the next. Find the nearest taproom through our Locations & Menus page.

July Partner Spotlight: Time to Compete
In July, we are proud to support Time to Compete, a community-driven nonprofit created to help young adults during and after cancer treatment. Its work fills gaps that medical care and insurance may not cover, including transportation help, gift cards, care packages, and connections with people who understand what treatment can feel like.
Time to Compete grew from Gibson Harnett’s determination to make sure other young adults facing cancer would know they were not alone. That spirit of community feels especially meaningful to us. A strong support system can make a hard season feel less isolating, and every person who joins us in July helps add to that network. Come for pizza, raise a glass, and help Time to Compete keep showing up for young adults and their families.
August Partner Spotlight: Maine Cancer Foundation
This August, we are supporting Maine Cancer Foundation. Maine Cancer Foundation works to reduce the impact of cancer across our state by investing in prevention, early detection, and better access to care. Every dollar the organization raises stays in Maine, helping fund programs and partnerships that benefit Maine people.
Cancer touches communities in countless ways, and meaningful progress takes cooperation. Maine Cancer Foundation supports promising programs while bringing organizations together through a statewide network focused on stronger outcomes. We are proud to give our guests a simple way to be part of that work. Join us for an August Community Night, order Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza during the month, or do both. Every table helps us contribute to a healthier future for people throughout Maine.
September Partner Spotlight: NAMI Maine
In September, our Community Nights support NAMI Maine. NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Maine provides advocacy, education, and support for individuals, families, and communities affected by mental illness. Its programs help people find information, connection, and practical support while working toward a Maine where mental health challenges can be discussed without shame or stigma.
Mental health affects every kind of family and every kind of community. Sometimes the most important first step is knowing that help exists and that no one has to navigate a difficult season alone. We are proud to support NAMI Maine’s work this September. Bring a friend, gather your family, or invite someone who could use an easy night out. By filling our tables together, we can help keep education, advocacy, and support available across Maine.
Make Community Nights Part of Your Summer
The easiest way to support Community Nights Maine is to make one of these dates part of your normal summer plans. Invite friends, bring the family, or organize a casual gathering with coworkers. A larger table means more conversation, more shared slices, and more support for the month’s featured partner.
If you cannot attend on the scheduled night, you can still help. Share the dates, invite someone who lives near another location, or order Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza at another point during the month. You can also learn about our community work or apply to host a future Community Night. Giving back in Maine can start with something as simple as deciding where to have dinner.
See You This Summer!
This summer gives us three more wonderful reasons to gather. July supports Time to Compete and its work with young adults facing cancer. In August, we are proud to stand with Maine Cancer Foundation. September brings our support to NAMI Maine and its work in mental health education, advocacy, and support.
Gram’s Vodka Sauce Pizza will be here through it all, helping each month’s featured partner while giving us something delicious to share. Pick a Community Night, bring your people, and join us for pizza, local beer, and a summer evening that does some good.
