Spring Activities & Events At Brickyard Hollow: April Pizza With Potential Collaboration A&C Soda Shop In South Portland
According to Feeding America, it is reported that 1 in 6 Maine children lack access to enough nutritious food to live a healthy life and may not know where or when they will receive their next meal. That number equates to about 40,000 Maine children.
To address this pressing issue, Brickyard Hollow is collaborating with local eateries to create a monthly pizza that will donate $1 from every sale to Full Plates Full Potential, an organization dedicated to ending child hunger in Maine by partnering with the hospitality industry and various other businesses throughout the state.
Our April collaboration is with A&C Soda Shop, a newly relocated and reimagined neighborhood favorite in South Portland, known for its scrumptious sandwiches, delicious soups, and nostalgic soda shop treats. Together with Brickyard Hollow, we are thrilled to introduce April’s Pizza of the Month, the “Real Italian.” This creation combines fennel salami, mortadella, peppers, kalamata olives, black pepper, and olive oil, showcasing the best of A&C Soda Shop’s flavors atop Brickyard Hollow’s artisanal crust. The pizza will be available at Brickyard Hollow’s locations in Portland, Ogunquit, Yarmouth, and Freeport.
In addition to supporting Full Plates through our pizza sales, A&C Soda Shop will carry Brickyard Hollow’s beer for the month and donate $1 from every beer sold to Full Plates. This partnership represents a win-win for both businesses, as it allows them to showcase their culinary skills, reach new customers, and make a positive impact on the community.
Our monthly pizza collaboration is a unique and innovative way to address childhood hunger in Maine and support local restaurants and chefs at the same time. This initiative will inspire other businesses to join the cause and make a difference in the lives of children in need.
